Inspired by our work on Regis & Kelly, WLS-TV, the ABC O&O in Chicago, contacted Big Machine to design the entire show package for their new morning talk show “Windy City Live.”

The show open features hosts Val Warner and Ryan Chiaverini enjoying a Chicago morning on their way to the WCL studios.

Big Machine director Steve Petersen had to work quickly to dodge a snowstorm and overcast skies over the 2 day shoot. When the footage got back to Big Machine the team went to work adding some sunshine and blue skies along with the signature deco-style design elements that make the sequence come to life. Big Machine worked with the in-house design team at WLS to create elements that are used in almost every graphic in the show.
