Thundercats?  Cheetara?  Traditional animation?  When do we start?  That’s what we said when Cartoon Network approached us for this project.

Big Machine created all new cell animation for the promo of this reboot of the popular animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation.  We’re always thrilled to combine traditional animation techniques with our expertise in 3D animation and compositing.  CN & Warner Bros. provided us with character designs that we animated using Adobe Flash.

The most amazing part of this project is that we completed a :30 promo with full animation in a week.  The deadline was tight, but our animators were motivated by one of their favorite childhood series.
