Nike Los Fearless
Big Machine has created a unique visual immersion experience for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game and Nike.
Agency Sandy Montana approached Big Machine to work on this first in the US quad-dome visual projection system. The dome was constructed at the intersection of Hollywood & Vine for the weekend of the All-Star game. Lucky visitors were able to experience interactive shopping displays and exclusive Nike short films projected on the walls of this 2-story high, four section dome.
Big Machine handled editorial and design/animation duties on the short films and animated wallpaper. 7 HD projectors were used to create a full panoramic presentation of the work that could be viewed from the inside as well as outside.
The movie clip above represents the total panoramic view. For frame of reference, each one of the video clips from the short films filled an entire section of the dome. You can check out some stills from inside the tent as well. Check out this footage of the dome being constructed as well!
