Big Machine is an award winning visual production company founded in 2003 by Steve Petersen and Ken Carlson. BMD has produced visuals for everything from: film titles, advertising, tv shows, games, multi-screen experiences and mobile devices.

Steve Petersen

Co-founder. Creative Director. Director.

Steve is a graduate of the Syracuse University, NY. He has worked as an editor, producer and designer. He has just directed a short film shot in the Los Angeles area. The image above is an actual photo of Steve.

Ken Carlson

Co-founder. Creative Director. Director of Photography.

Ken is a graduate of the University of Florida. He has worked as a senior supervising show producer, photojournalist, and designer. Ken does not actually walk around with a light-saber in real life.

Sean Owolo

Executive Producer. Business Development.

Sean is originally from Connecticut. He is a veteran entertainment executive having spent 10 years in the music industry, before spending the last 4 years in the visual design industry. Sean is an all around great guy, but do not tell him he can only use the treadmill at the gym for 20 minutes. Trust us on this one.

Matt LeBoeuf

Senior Producer.

Matt is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, MA. He has worked in the entertainment industry for 10 years. Matt is an all around superstar and enjoys p90x and vodka. Matt is from New Hampshire. New Hampshire is a state on the east coast.
